Kenya snow peas (mangetout) are picked while still immature for eating whole. They differ from other related peas in that their pods are flat rather than round and bulging. Our produce consists of both tops and tails to enhance its fresh look. They provide 72 percent of the immunity boosting vitamin C that the body needs daily. We source mangetouts from: Central uplands and lowlands, Rift Valley highlands and lowlands and Western Kenya’s forested regions. These regions have moderate temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, fertile soils and well distributed rainfall patterns that the plants need. Harvesting and packaging of snow peas takes place the same day to reduce contamination, improve shelf life and meet shipping deadlines. We have supervision teams on the ground in all farming regions to keep a tab on quality. We package the fresh produce after cleaning and removing debris.
